Appliance Repair Rooted in Sunnyvale
We started OTJ Appliance Repair to serve the homes and kitchens across Sunnyvale and the surrounding neighborhoods of Santa Clara County. Our crew responds to calls from Downtown Sunnyvale, Lakewood, Murphy, Ponderosa, Sunnyvale West, and East Sunnyvale, where many houses hold older appliances that need steady attention. We also cover nearby Cupertino, Mountain View, and San Jose, handling everything from everyday breakdowns to more involved oven repair jobs that keep families cooking without long waits.
The mild Mediterranean climate here brings warm summers and cool winters that affect how appliances run year-round. Homes near Baylands Park or the Computer History Museum often see steady use of ovens and ranges during the longer daylight months, while properties around Sunnyvale Town Center deal with the wear from daily routines in established neighborhoods. We stay available Mon–Sun 24/7 so residents never have to schedule around limited hours when a unit stops working.
Our team focuses on clear communication and workmanship you can inspect on site. We arrive prepared for the specific conditions of Santa Clara County homes, whether that means addressing oven issues in older Ponderosa kitchens or handling appliance repairs in newer builds in East Sunnyvale. This approach keeps us grounded in the real needs of the area instead of generic service promises.

What Sunnyvale, CA Customers Say
“My refrigerator kept freezing up and the ice maker stopped working. The OTJ tech replaced the defrost heater and thermostat, then cleared the drain. The unit runs without frost buildup and the ice maker produces cubes again.”
“The front-load washer left clothes soaking wet after every cycle. They swapped out the drain pump and cleaned the sump filter. Loads now spin out properly and finish in the normal time.”
“Our electric oven took over an hour to reach 350 degrees and baked unevenly. The technician replaced the bake element and recalibrated the temperature sensor. Cookies and roasts come out evenly browned on the first try.”
